You will receive another email from us two weeks before your class starts to schedule the entrance test and in person labs.  This basic English test is given in person in small groups at the school.  The orientation and class dates will be held online via Zoom.  The 4 small in person labs occur 1-2 times per week during the online class dates.  Beginning in August there will be 7 in person labs required.  These labs follow a similar day/schedule as online class dates.  For example, weekend students will be offered weekend skills/cpr dates.  Students must also complete the 40 hours of clinical, through the school, before we can issue your certificate of completion.  You must receive the certificate of completion from us, before you can apply for the State Test.

COVID 19 Precautions

By Governor Jay Inslee proclamation health care workers that work in long term care or assisted living settings in WA State must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19 by Oct 4, 2021.  An important part of the training is the clinical experience where the student takes care of residents.  Students do need to be fully vaccinated in order to do clinical experience and must present documentation of vaccination.  Clinical sites do not accept exemptions.

Nursing Assistant Training Institute adheres to all federal, state and local public health and workplace safety requirements.  The school has a comprehensive Covid 19 infection control plan incorporating requirements of the above agencies and best practices of the Center for Disease Control and the Washington State Department of Health.

Face masks are optional in the school and required during clinical.  Students will need to wash their hands before entering the classroom.
